Our 2018 GROW team is very excited to depart for Uganda on May 21st. We have the opportunity to spend 27 days working with MCODE on our "breaking the silence" project. Our project aims to provide menstrual health education and menstrual hygiene kits to young girls in the Buikwe district of Uganda. On our trip, we hope to accomplish these goals and further strengthen our relationship with MCODE. This year's team is three women strong: Ilennah (me), Rachel, and Allison. Later this week, we will introduce each member of the team with a personal blog post, so stay tuned.
